Job Title: Welder FitterJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Welder Fitter to join our teamThis role involves reading and interpreting blueprints to perform the initial fit-up of welded assemblies, working closely with engineering when needed, and operating with minimal supervisionResponsibilitiesRead and interpret mechanical blueprints, both detail and assemblyPerform initial fit-up of welded assemblies using pre-cut steel platesCommunicate directly with engineering as requiredUse micrometers and precision measuring instruments effectivelyOperate overhead cranes with up to 50-ton capacityOperate fork trucks and man lifts safelyManually lift 20-25 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionallyUse proficient fitting skills to manipulate workEssential SkillsMinimum of 3 years experience in blueprint readingProficiency in 1-inch plate fitting and weldingAt least 3 years of Flux Core/MIG welding experienceA minimum of 2 years of fitting experiencePay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
