**Job Title: Production Welder/Fitter**
**Job Description**
Join our team as a Production Welder/Fitter, where you will contribute to the creation of railway car components in a dynamic weld shop environment. You will utilize your skills in Mig and Flux welding to deliver high-quality, precise welds.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform Mig and Flux welding on railway car components.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
+ Ensure structural integrity and quality in all welded components.
+ Utilize hand tools and equipment efficiently.
+ Maintain safety and cleanliness in the production area.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in production welding.
+ Minimum 2 years of fitting experience.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and weld symbols.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with Tig welding and sheet metal fabrication.
+ Competency in using tape measures and grinding tools.

**Work Environment**
Work in a structured, well-equipped facility with openings on the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday. Voluntary overtime is available on weekends, allowing you to work up to 60 hours if desired.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Columbia, South Carolina.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
