Job Title: FabricatorJob Description

The fabricator will operate fabrication shop machinery such as cut-off saws, shears, rolls, brake presses, forming machines, and spinning machines. The role involves using these machines to punch, cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures. The fabricator must be able to read and interpret blueprints, remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, and scale, as well as detect workpiece defects and machine malfunctions. Minor machine oiling is also part of the job.

ResponsibilitiesOperate various fabrication shop machinery including cut-off saws, shears, rolls, brake presses, and forming machines.Utilize machinery to punch, cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures.Read and interpret blueprints accurately.Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, and scale from metal workpieces.Detect and address workpiece defects and machine malfunctions.Perform minor machine oiling as needed.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of experience in metal fabrication.At least 1 year of experience in structural beam fabrication.Proficiency in reading blueprints.Ability to accurately read a tape measure.Experience with fabrication machinery.High school diploma or equivalent.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with hand and power tools.Experience with press brake and fitting.Strong understanding of fabrication processes.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $30.00/hr.
