**Job Title: Welder and Fabricator** **Job Description** Join our team as a Welder and Fabricator, where you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and installation of heavy mild steel components for various clients. Your work will involve the breakdown, transportation, and installation of materials and machines within warehouse settings. This role requires expertise in handling large objects, such as mezzanines, railings, and equipment repairs, ensuring they are safely transported and installed in new locations. **Responsibilities** + Fabricate and install heavy mild steel components for clients in warehouse settings. + Break down materials and machines into manageable sizes for safe transportation. + Transport materials and machines to new locations and install them within existing structures. + Perform welding tasks onsite and at project locations, including locations in Southbridge, MA. + Work with mezzanines, railings, equipment repairs, and industrial modifications. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of experience in MIG Welding (Standard MIG, FCAW, Pulse, etc.) or Stick Welding (SMAW). + Proficiency in fabrication, blueprint reading, and various welding techniques including TIG and MIG welding. + Experience in cutting, drilling, grinding, beveling, and oxyacetylene/plasma torch cutting. + Ability to assemble using hand tools and work with stainless steel. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + AWS D1.1 Certified or comparable experience. + Reliable transportation is a must. + Familiarity with carbon steel and/or high-strength steel plate. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values its employees, as evidenced by the high tenure among current staff.
