**Job Title: Welder / Fabricator** **Job Description** Join a medium-sized company that specializes in producing overhead cranes and undertaking diverse job shop work. As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be involved in welding metal components using various arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machine parts, plant equipment, and structural weldments. **Responsibilities** + Weld metal components together using brazing and a variety of arc and gas welding equipment. + Fabricate or repair products including machine parts, plant equipment, and structural weldments. + Read and interpret prints, engineering drawings, and written instructions. + Work in additional areas such as manual machining and assembly when required. + Operate forklifts, cranes, slings, and hooks proficiently. + Perform tasks requiring physical activity, including lifting up to 75 lbs, crouching, standing, and twisting. **Essential Skills** + 3 years of fabrication experience. + 3 years of experience in manufacturing or completion of technical school. + 3 years of experience in MIG welding. + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints. + Proficiency in operating forklifts, cranes, slings, and hooks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. + Experience with TIG welding is a bonus. + Flexibility to work in various areas such as assembly and paint preparation. + Ability to work under a helmet approximately 40% of the time. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy great benefits that cost employees very little, making them the best in town. The facility features very large ceilings and comprehensive venting systems. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waite Park, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
