**Job Title: Welder and Fabricator** **Job Description** This position involves working in a steel bending and fabrication metal shop, primarily handling structural steel projects using carbon steel. The role may also require work with other metals and welding processes. We seek a MIG and TIG welder interested in a long-term role with growth opportunities. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metal projects, primarily focusing on structural steel. + Support additional projects involving other metals and welding processes. + Interpret and work from blueprints and fitting instructions. + Operate shears, grinders, and torches for fabrication tasks. + Ensure welding tasks adhere to AWS standards. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience. + Ability to perform basic shop duties in an industrial metal shop. + Experience in structural steel fabrication. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6g Certification or ability to obtain certification. + Willingness to join Local 516 Union upon 180 days of employment. **Why Work Here?** The company offers a comprehensive benefits package upon conversion to full-time direct hire.
