**Job Title: Welder/Fabricator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our team at our fabrication shop, specializing in the production of custom-built ambulances. You will be engaged in designing and building ambulances according to customer specifications, performing MIG welding, and interpreting blueprints. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding on various projects according to specifications. + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to build and layout jobs accurately. + Utilize hand tools and operate air-powered tools such as grinders, sanders, rivet guns, and saws. + Maintain and pass AWS welding certifications. + Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines, ensuring tasks are completed within the designated time frame. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in MIG and TIG welding on aluminum and steel. + Strong understanding of blueprints and schematics. + Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math, including adding and subtracting fractions. + Experience with air-powered tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + AWS welding certification is required. **Why Work Here?** Join a leading manufacturer of custom-built ambulances servicing cities and counties across the United States. While the main manufacturing area is not climate-controlled, the company maintains high standards of organization and efficiency. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grove City, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
