**Job Title: Welder and Fitter** Job Description We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fitter who is experienced in Flux Core and Mig welding. The ideal candidate must be able to tack weld and repair weld at a minimum level. Proficiency in reading weld blueprints and diagrams is essential, as well as experience in performing layout and fitting together weldments. You will be working with metal components to assemble structural forms, such as machinery frames, bridge parts, and pressure vessels. Responsibilities + Perform Flux Core and Mig welding with precision and skill. + Tack weld and repair weld components as required. + Read and interpret weld blueprints and diagrams accurately. + Layout and fit together weldments according to blueprints. + Assemble structural forms using Mig welding techniques. Essential Skills + Experience with Mig Welding and Flux Core Welding. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Ability to perform layout and fitting of metal components. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Stick Welding is a plus. + Capability to work with heavy industrial equipment and environments. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a heavy industrial setting, yet the shop maintains a clean and organized space. You will primarily work on burners and boiler tubes, requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Donora, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00/hr.
