Job Title: Welder and Fabricator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder-Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in steel welding and be adept in fabricating equipment for the food processing and material handling industries. This role requires proficiency in MIG welding on stainless steel, along with the ability to weld and fabricate metal assemblies and weldments. The Welder-Fabricator will utilize hand tools, operate machinery, and follow both verbal instructions and technical drawings to fabricate products.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on stainless steel.Fabricate a variety of equipment for the food processing and material handling industry.Weld and fabricate metal assemblies and weldments.Utilize hand tools, machine operation, and welding to fabricate products.Follow verbal instructions and technical drawings.

Essential Skills

Experience in MIG welding.Proficiency in stainless steel welding.Ability to fabricate metal assemblies and weldments.Experience with hand tools and machine operation.Knowledge of MIG welding, brake forming, and other fabrication processes on stainless and mild steel.Ability to position, align, fit, and weld parts.Experience in laying out stock and subassemblies.Ability to follow blueprints and drawings.Capability to set up and operate fabrication machines including rolls, brakes, flame cutters, drill press, grinders, and shear.

Work Environment

Work in a 50,000 square foot manufacturing facility. The position operates on the 1st shift from 8 AM to 5 PM, with the possibility of weekends and overtime.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fresno, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
