**Job Title: Welder and Fabricator** Job Description As a Welder and Fabricator, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining forms used for concrete moldings, ensuring they are within tolerance. You will also change out pneumatic locks and engage in form maintenance welding, which constitutes 70% of the role, alongside 30% custom fabrication tasks such as guard rails and machine guarding around the plant. Responsibilities + Inspect forms used for concrete moldings. + Maintain forms to ensure they are within tolerance. + Change out pneumatic locks as needed. + Perform maintenance welding on forms. + Engage in custom fabrication around the plant including guard rails and machine guarding. Essential Skills + Proficiency in blueprint reading. + Experience with MIG and Stick welding. + Ability to use tape measures accurately. + Fabrication skills. + Mechanical aptitude. + Familiarity with plasma cutters and cutting torches. + Knowledge of using calipers. + Understanding of pneumatics. + Forklift operation experience. + Experience as a maintenance technician. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Certified welder is a plus. + Completion of welding school is advantageous. + 5+ years of welding experience. Why Work Here? It is loud and dirty, with employees expected to work 10+ hours of overtime per week and occasionally on Saturdays with a three-day notice. The role operates on the first shift, with hours from 5am to 3pm, or flexibly from 6am to 4pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Charleston, South Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
