**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** This position is responsible for the construction and dismantling of mock-up test chambers and miscellaneous construction associated with building modifications and company expansion. **Shift and Pay** $22-$23/hr Mon- Fri 6:45am-3:15pm with a 30 minute lunch at 12 **Responsibilities** + Operate scissor lift, aerial lift, forklift, and other equipment. + Read and measure steel accurately. + Perform cutting, bending, grinding, and fabrication tasks. + Conduct torch cutting and stick welding in multiple positions. + Construct test curtain walls from scratch. + Weld and fabricate, assembling structures at heights. + Grind, fit, and assemble steel structures. + Work with I beams, square tubes, and steel angles. + Operate overhead crane to position steel. **Essential Skills** + Stick welding experience in multiple positions on structural steel. + Fabrication skills including grinding, torch cutting, and assembly of structural steel. + Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding fabrication processes. + Experience with scissor lift, aerial lift, and forklift operations. + Comfortable working at heights. + Strong measuring skills. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
