Location of Work: Hollywood, SC $150 per diem

Aerotek is hiring WELDERS (and fitters) for a large site in HOLLYWOOD, SC.

Welding is all Flux Core and Pulse. Must also be able to read welding blueprint and assist in fitting.

Starting pay is based on your weld test results, years of experience, and overall communication throughout the process.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr as a base, with + $150 Per Diem per days worked!!

Shift: 1st and 2nd shift openings!!

Shift schedule is 4 x 10/hr shifts (Monday - Thursday)

Overtime is offered in 8 hour shifts on Friday and Saturday

Qualifications:

Proficient in Flux core and Pulse Welding (Minimum 3 years experience in both - No Exceptions)Must be able to structural fit as wellMinimum 3-5 years of welding experience using Flux and Pulse welding techniquesAbility to read and understand blueprintsAttention to detail

Responsibilities:

Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques (Flux, MIG, Pulse)Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness and quality.Maintain a safe and clean environmentEssential Skills+3 years of welding experience.Proficiency in MIG welding (GMAW).Experience with Flux Core welding & MIG weldingAbility to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with stainless steel fabrication.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
