**Job Title: Welder and Fabricator**
**Job Description**
In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating parts, structural steel, and other components in the shop. You will also perform mechanical and welding repairs as needed, and handle the final assembly and testing of overhead cranes on the shop floor. It is crucial to ensure that all equipment is built to the specifications and drawings provided.
**Responsibilities**
+ Fabricate parts, structural steel, and other components in the shop.
+ Perform mechanical and welding repairs in the shop as needed.
+ Conduct final assembly and testing of overhead cranes on the shop floor.
+ Ensure equipment is built to specifications and drawings provided.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in MIG, flux core, and stick welding.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience in fabrication, fitting, and assembly.
+ Competence in using tools such as grinders and tape measures.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ At least 3 years of experience in an industrial environment or similar military experience.
+ Skills and experience in welding and mechanical maintenance.
+ Team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
+ Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Ability to interface with internal and external customers.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
