Join our team as a Welder and Fabricator, where you will layout, fit, fabricate, and assemble components for Heat Processing Equipment. Your work will involve assembly, dismantling, and repair activities.
ResponsibilitiesLayout, position, align, and fit components together.Use clamps and tack welds to secure proper positioning for welding.Set up equipment and weld parts using Stick, ARC, MIG, TIG, and alloy welding techniques as needed.Assemble parts by welding and riveting methods, ensuring structures are square and level.Perform tasks with sheet metal, including fabricating oven panels, spot welding, and applying insulating materials.Conduct welding, cutting, and grinding on plate and structural components.Repair or modify products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling.
Essential SkillsProficiency in welding and fabrication techniques such as Stick, MIG, and TIG.Ability to work with structural steel of 1/4\"+ gauge thickness.Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.Capability to pass a weld and quick math test.Experience in bending metal and cutting angles.
Additional Skills & QualificationsCertification is not required but advantageous.
Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing environment where the noise level may be high. The role involves 25% welding and the remaining time in fabricating, building, prepping material, and installing insulation. Candidates should have work boots, although steel toe is not required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
