Job Title: Welder
Job Description
We are seeking Welders to operate welding equipment and produce steel and aluminum parts for consumer and industrial storage units. This role involves setting up and adjusting welding machines, and replacing welding wire and tips as needed. The position requires obtaining designated parts, placing completed products on conveyor lines, and conducting visual and measurement inspections to ensure quality standards are met, guided by blueprints.
Responsibilities
Operate welders to produce steel and aluminum parts for storage and climbing units.Set up welder, adjust settings, and replace welding wire and tips as needed.Obtain designated parts from baskets and place completed products on conveyor lines or designated areas.Perform visual and periodic measurement inspections of parts/products to maintain quality standards using blueprints.Report any mechanical problems with the welder to the supervisor or maintenance team.Record production output on daily reports, including part/model number and quantities.Operate grinder to remove excess burrs and welding wire as necessary.Monitor parts used and notify supervisor of material requirements and shortages.Essential Skills
Proficiency in MIG welding.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Welding certification.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with flux core and fabrication techniques.Familiarity with steel gauge 16 - 12.Why Work Here?
