Join a dynamic team as a Welder, where you will engage in tac/mig welding within a production welding and processing atmosphere. You will handle tasks such as plate to plate, block to plate, butt joint, stitch welding, pipe welding, and square block welding for brackets and components for a large equipment company. Additionally, you may be called upon to operate a press brake, manage a paint line, perform powder coating, and contribute to assembly processes.

ResponsibilitiesPerform tac/mig welding in a production environment.Execute plate to plate, block to plate, butt joint, stitch welding, pipe welding, and square block welding.Contribute to the operation of press brake, paint line, powder coating, and assembly as needed.Ensure clean welds and take pride in the quality of work.Essential SkillsProficiency in Mig Welding and Blueprint reading.Experience in grinding, fabrication, and using a tape measure.Familiarity with stainless steel and MIG welding techniques.Additional Skills & QualificationsFlexibility and openness to perform tasks outside of standard responsibilities.Ability to work independently with a growth mindset.Consistent attendance and a certification in welding is preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a mid-size, 30-person fabrication shop equipped with paint, press brake, welding, and assembly processes. The company is expanding, having added 6-7 customers in 2024. The facility includes production welding and welding bays across two buildings, handling mild steel from 20 gauge to 1 inch. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with flexibility based on business needs. Enjoy paid breaks, including a 20-minute paid lunch.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dunlap, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
