**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** Join our team as a Welder, where you will play a crucial role in moving steel throughout the plant using overhead cranes. You will perform flux core, MIG, and stick welding on structural steel, primarily utilizing the wire. Occasionally, you will operate a drill press and assist in various shop tasks as needed. This role requires working both indoors and outdoors as steel is moved throughout the plant. **Responsibilities** + Move steel throughout the plant using overhead cranes. + Perform flux core, MIG, and stick welding on structural steel. + Utilize the wire for welding tasks. + Operate a drill press when required. + Work both inside and outside, as needed. **Essential Skills** + Experience with welding, including flux core, MIG, and stick welding. + Proficiency in using overhead cranes. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience with structural steel. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly with welding, overhead cranes, or CNC machines. + A solid work history, with 3+ years at each job. + Strong attendance record. + Ability to fit into a family-owned business culture. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a stable first-shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with potential overtime due to workload. The shop is equipped with moving overhead cranes, welding areas, drill presses, and forklifts. Currently, there are approximately 30 employees on the first shift and 2 on the second shift. All welding equipment, except for helmets, is provided. Openings are available for the first shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greencastle, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
