Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder with expertise in MIG and Flux Core welding. The ideal candidate will have experience working with carbon steel and the ability to read blueprints effectively.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on carbon steel.Grind and bevel surfaces as required.Tear down old valves and perform necessary fabrication tasks.Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate welding work.

Essential Skills

3+ years of MIG welding experience.3+ years of blueprint reading experience.3+ years of Flux Core welding experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with structural steel fabrication.Proficiency in grinding and welding tasks.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Saturday from 5:00 am to 12:00 pm. Overtime is available but not required. Employees must wear steel-toed boots, and uniforms are available at the employee's expense once hired directly. The work can sometimes be physically demanding and involve dirty tasks. Employees are expected to provide their own welding helmet, while gloves and some air tools are supplied.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Zelienople, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
