Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Welder with 10+ years of experience to join our team in Springfield, MA. This role requires expertise in welding, fabrication, blueprint reading, and working with a variety of metals in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality welding using MIG, TIG, and Stick processes

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols

Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures

Ensure welds meet quality, safety, and structural standards

Inspect finished welds for accuracy, strength, and defects

Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition

Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures

Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines

Required Qualifications

10+ years of professional welding experience

Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding

Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum

Excellent attention to detail and workmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Preferred Qualifications

Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent)

Experience in industrial, structural, or manufacturing environments

Forklift or overhead crane experience

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods

Lift up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working in industrial settings
