We are seeking a skilled welder to join a dynamic team involved in the prototype and low-volume production castings for various industries, including aerospace. This role focuses on the rapid manufacturing of prototype castings, primarily working with aluminum alloys.
ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints.Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of prototype parts.Deburr parts as needed.Engage in bench hand work when welding operations are slower.Essential SkillsRecent experience in MIG and TIG welding, with 70% of tasks involving MIG and 30% involving TIG.Proficiency in reading and interpreting basic blueprints from the first day.Experience welding both aluminum (80%) and steel (20%) parts.Possession of steel-toed boots or shoes.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in deburring, which is highly valued.Bench hand experience is preferred and will distinguish you from other candidates.Why Work Here?Join a team that values innovation and expertise in the field of prototype casting. Work EnvironmentThe welder will work in a main building known for being well-lit, organized, clean, and climate-controlled. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the possibility of overtime on Saturdays as needed. Welders are expected to provide their own welding gear, including helmets.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
