**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** Join our team as a Welder, where you will play a crucial role in building and fabricating bridge and barge components. This position involves welding, cutting, and fitting steel to create specific bridge parts based on project requirements. **Responsibilities** + Weld, cut, and fit steel to fabricate bridge components. + Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure accuracy in fabrication. + Perform Flux Core welding on structural and stainless steel. + Utilize Mig welding techniques as needed. + Grind and arc gauge metal to prepare and finish components. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in Flux Core welding on structural and stainless steel. + Ability to read and work from blueprints effectively. + Experience with Mig welding, grinding, and arc welding. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Capability to grind and arc gauge metal. + Blueprint reading proficiency. **Work Environment** Work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, focusing on precision and quality craftsmanship. Safety is a priority, and the workplace is equipped with the necessary tools and technologies to ensure efficient and effective production. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cordova, AL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
