**Job Title: Welder** **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel materials. + Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to ensure accuracy in production. + Prepare materials for welding, ensuring all safety precautions are followed. + Operate welding machines and tools, including grinders, safely and efficiently. + Minimize distortion or warping during the welding process. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding. + Experience working with aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel. + Ability to pass a math test involving basic arithmetic and measurement reading. + Capability to work 50 hours per week. + Own a welding helmet and gloves. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plainfield, IN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
