**Welder** **Job Description** Join a once in a lifetime opportunity at a renowned company building your career in welding and fabrication! We are seeking welders to join our team, responsible for operating welders to produce steel and aluminum parts for consumer and industrial storage and climbing units. This role involves setting up and adjusting welding equipment, ensuring quality through inspections, and maintaining production efficiency. **Shift Details** We have openings on both first and second shift. First shift: 6 am – 2 pm (OT is before the shift) Second shift: 2 pm – 10 pm (OT is after the shift) + $1.25 shift differential This position is paid hourly at a rate of $22-24/hr (before differential, if applicable) contingent on weld test. **Responsibilities** + Operate welders to produce steel and aluminum parts. + Set up welder, make necessary adjustments, and replace welding wire and tips. + Obtain designated parts and place completed products on conveyors or designated areas. + Perform visual and measurement inspections to maintain quality standards using blueprints. + Report any mechanical problems with the welder to the supervisor or maintenance. + Record production output, including part/model number and quantities. + Operate grinder to remove excess burrs and welding wire. + Monitor parts used and notify the supervisor of material requirements and shortages. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in MIG welding. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Welding certification. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with flux core and fabrication is advantageous. + Experience with production welding is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values its employees and offers opportunities for growth, including contract-to-hire positions with regular raises based on tenure.
