**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled Welders to join our team, responsible for operating welding equipment to produce steel and aluminum parts for consumer and industrial storage units and climbing units. This role involves setting up welders, making necessary adjustments, and maintaining production quality. **Responsibilities** + Operate welders to produce steel and aluminum parts for consumer and industrial storage and climbing units. + Set up welding equipment, adjust settings, and replace welding wire and tips as necessary. + Obtain designated parts and place completed products on conveyor lines, floors, baskets, or stacks as needed. + Perform visual and periodic measurement inspections of parts/products to maintain quality standards, using blueprints as a guide. + Report any mechanical problems with the welder to the supervisor or maintenance. + Record production output on daily reports, including part/model numbers and quantities. + Operate a grinder to remove excess burrs and welding wire as necessary. + Monitor parts used and required for production, notifying the supervisor of material requirements and shortages. **Essential Skills** + MIG welding experience + Ability to read and interpret blueprints + Welding certification + Familiarity with flux core and fabrication processes **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working in a production welding format + Ability to work in a team environment + Detail-oriented with strong quality control skills **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive and inclusive work culture where tenure is rewarded with regular raises. This position is for the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, with some shifts extending to midnight. A $1.25 shift differential is offered, and there is mandatory overtime of 5 hours on Saturdays. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Crystal Lake, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $49920.00/yr.
