Job Title: Welder / Fabricator
Job Description

As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for reading blueprints and using welding equipment to fabricate large dumpster equipment. You will work collaboratively within a team, employing Mig, Tig, and flux core welding techniques on materials such as 1/2 inch tubes and welding beads of 1 inch and 1/2 inch thickness.

ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints to determine welding and fabrication requirements.Utilize Mig, Tig, and flux core welding techniques to fabricate dumpster equipment.Handle materials with 1/2 inch tube/thickness and execute welding of 1 inch and 1/2 inch weld beads.Collaborate with team members to complete assigned jobs efficiently.Essential SkillsProficiency in Mig, Tig, and flux core welding.Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.Experience in structural welding and fabrication.Skill in using a tape measure for precise measurements.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with working on structural steel and using fixtures.Understanding of material thickness and its implications in welding.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with the option of a 4x10 work week. The work is conducted at the main original office located in downtown, ensuring a convenient and accessible location.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopkins, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
