Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder for a position available in Canton, OH. Join us on either the 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM, or the 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 PM to 4:30 AM. You will be responsible for performing MIG welding, fitting, and fabrication on structural and stainless steel, ensuring precision and adherence to blueprints.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding and fitting on structural steel and stainless steel.Follow blueprints to accurately fabricate and fit parts.Execute welds up to 1/2 inch in thickness.Grind and prepare parts for welding.Use a tape measure to cut parts to the correct size.Operate an overhead crane daily.Assist in cleaning the shop during downtime.Essential Skills
2+ years of welding experience in manufacturing.Proficiency in MIG welding on structural metal.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Pass a MIG weld test, performing vertical and horizontal welds.Operate material handling equipment such as cranes and tow motors.Proficiency with basic hand tools.Ability to read a tape measure accurately.Basic understanding of different weld joints.Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to remain on feet for 8+ hours per day.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a small, organized shop with tenured employees. The facility can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer, with dim lighting and some noise due to the nature of the work. We prioritize safety and provide a $2.75/hr shift differential for the 3rd shift. Be prepared for mandatory overtime and flexible Saturday hours.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.25 - $28.00/hr.
