Join our team as a Welder, where you will be responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable materials using Flux core and Pulse welding techniques. You will work on welding various large structural steel components for NAVSEA related equipment as part of a special project.
ResponsibilitiesJoin, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using Flux core and Pulse welding techniques.Weld various large structural steel components for NAVSEA related equipment.Conduct daily testing at 7 am from Monday to Thursday.Perform weld tests including 3G Flux Core on a 1-inch plate and 3G Pulse Mig on a 3/8th plate.
Essential SkillsExpertise in Flux core and Pulse mig welding.Proficiency in working with stainless steel and carbon steel.Fabrication skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience in NAVSEA, shipyard, and fitting.
Additional Skills & QualificationsAt least 3-5+ years of experience in both Flux Core and Pulse welding.Experience in shipyards, nuclear power plants, large steel fabrication shops, or related fields.Ability to pass 3G Flux core and Pulse testing positions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
