**Job Title: Welder** Job Description We are seeking skilled individuals for Welder I and II positions, offering a first shift from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays from 5:00 am to 10:00 am. The role involves performing tack and bead welds using Arc welder and electrode rods and cutting metals with an oxygen/acetylene torch. Candidates should have a welding certification and at least five years of experience in welding and fabrication. Responsibilities + Utilize modification and welding skills (minimum AWS 3G/4G level) to rework cab and other components. + Perform welding (AWS 3G/4G) according to blueprints. + Learn and retain skills necessary to complete welding tasks in the assigned area. + Fabricate components from raw stock following detailed operator instructions, installation drawings, and blueprints. + Understand and articulate the production flow of the assigned product line or area. + Self-check work and inspect prior processes. + Utilize basic hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools as required. + Meet production goals and maintain a clean and safe work area. + Initiate process improvements and support 5S in the work area. + Lead and perform lean events. + Communicate with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to resolve issues. + Solve complex problems with minimal assistance. Essential Skills + 5 plus years of related experience in welding and fabrication. + Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, and blueprint reading. + Ability to use measurement tools effectively. + Must pass required welding certification tests in AWS material sections: D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.6, and D9.1. + Understanding of AWS welding symbols.
