**Job Title: Journeyman Welder** Job Description We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Welder to join our team in production welding skids for data cooling centers. The role involves working on three different projects where welding requirements will vary slightly. You will primarily perform FCAW and GMAW welding on light gauge steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Assistance with fitting will be provided, though comfort with independent fitting is a plus. Responsibilities + Perform FCAW and GMAW welding on skids for data cooling centers. + Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate welding. + Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. + Be open to working overtime on weekdays and/or weekends when required. + Lift up to 50 pounds as part of the job duties. + Utilize shears and press brakes, with experience in these considered an asset. + Maintain a clean-shaven appearance for respirator use. Essential Skills + Proficient in FCAW and GMAW welding techniques. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience as a journeyman. + Capability to perform skid welding. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with flux core and MIG welding. + Comfortable with stick welding. + Experience with mild steel. + Experience using shears and press brakes is an asset. Work Environment Work in a brand-new, clean shop with morning shifts from 6:00am to 2:30pm and afternoon shifts from 3:00pm to 11:30pm. The facility is well-maintained and provides a professional working environment.
