**Job Title: Welder** Job Description We are seeking a skilled 2nd shift Welder to join our team in Huntington. Our company specializes in manufacturing truck accessories and parts for the railroad, including tool boxes for work trucks, racking, and other related accessories. As a Welder, you will primarily work with steel, with some tasks involving aluminum and galvanized steel. Your main focus will be on MIG welding, with occasional TIG welding tasks. Responsibilities + Perform MIG welding on steel 90% of the time. + Occasionally perform TIG welding and work with aluminum and galvanized steel. + Weld materials such as 1 - 1.5 inch gauge steel and 1/2 inch aluminum. + Conduct table welding, including flat, vertical up, and down welds. + Stand throughout the shift, with the possibility of sitting during smaller part runs. + Set up welding machines, including temperature and wire length adjustments. + Interpret and work from blueprints and welding symbols. Essential Skills + 2+ years of MIG welding experience. + Ability to interpret welding symbols and blueprints. + Experience welding steel. + Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Ability to stand throughout the entire shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience setting fixtures on a robotic welder. + TIG welding experience. + Experience with aluminum welding. + Experience with galvanized steel welding. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of **Huntington, Indiana** . **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
