**Job Title: 2nd Shift Welder** Job Description Join our team in manufacturing high-quality trailers for military and commercial applications. We have recently secured a major contract extending work through 2035. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fitting parts according to blueprints and MIG welding using the specified weld symbols. Your role will involve ensuring quality standards are met and performing inspections with tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. Certification will be provided post-hiring, and all welds must adhere to Department of Defense standards. Responsibilities + Fit parts to print and perform MIG welding using weld symbols. + Conduct quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. + Utilize jigs for fitting parts and use grinders or sanders to refine welds. + Ensure all welds are inspected by quality inspectors before dispatch. + Maintain high-quality standards as per Department of Defense requirements. Essential Skills + 2+ years of MIG welding experience on mild steel. + Proficiency in reading blueprints and weld symbols. + Experience in TIG welding and fabrication. Work Environment Our facility consists of two buildings located across from each other. The older building is used for steel welding and is somewhat loud and darker, while the newer building is cleaner, facilitating assembly and painting, as well as TIG and aluminum welding. The work schedule for the 1st Shift is Monday to Thursday 6am - 4:30pm, 2nd shift is Monday to Thursday from 3:45 PM to 1:45 AM, with initial training on the 1st shift. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
