**Job Title: Welder** Job Description We are seeking a skilled welder with a passion for MIG welding on pipes. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in welding, with the ability to read blueprints and weld symbols accurately. This role primarily involves MIG welding on pipe, ranging from 14" to 36", with the thickest being 1/2". You will perform lateral and vertical welds, with a focus on turn and elbow welds. $17-20 (based on experience & weld test) 1st shift - Mornings Responsibilities + Perform MIG welding duties on pipe. + Grind down welds on piping. + Execute general laborer duties as required, including heavy lifting up to 50 pounds. + Operate machinery such as drill press, shears, and manual lines. Essential Skills + 6 months of schooling or on-the-job welding experience. + Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols. + Proficiency in reading a tape measure accurately. + MIG welding experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with MIG welding on pipe is a plus. + Grinding experience. + AWS Certifications are preferred. + A degree from a technical college in welding is advantageous. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, Pennsylvania **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
