**Job Title: Welder** Job Description Join our team as a Welder, where you will perform grinding on parts and weld equipment. You will primarily engage in Mig Welds, with occasional stick welding. The role requires the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and operate machines for making and coiling welding wire. Comprehensive training will be provided for machine setup and operation, including tool changes, machine adjustments, quality checks, and minor machine repairs. Responsibilities also include loading and unloading wire, measuring with O.D. Micrometers (both Metric and Standard), performing preventative maintenance on mills, and operating overhead cranes. Responsibilities + Perform grinding on parts and weld equipment. + Primarily perform Mig Welds, with some stick welding. + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Operate machines for making and coiling welding wire (training provided). + Complete setup and operation of machines, including tool changes and machine adjustments (training provided). + Conduct quality checks and minor machine repairs (training provided). + Load and unload wire. + Measure with O.D. Micrometers (Metric & Standard) (training provided). + Perform preventative maintenance on mills. + Operate overhead cranes. + Work and operate other equipment around the plant as required. Essential Skills + Proficient in Mig Welding. + Experience with grinding. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + Familiarity with welding and fabrication processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Tig and Flux core welding is beneficial. + Ability to work with stainless steel and aluminum welding. + Open to travel for 4 weeks out of the year. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
