Our client, a leading sheet metal manufacturing company is seeking a 2nd shift Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the Welding department supporting the manufacturing of sheet metal products. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read blueprints, work independently, and maintain high quality and safety standard which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: Welder**
**Location:** Raleigh NC 27617 (Brier Creek area)
**Pay Range: $20 +**
(Pay will increase based upon candidate's skillsets & certifications )
**What’s the Job?**
+ Interpret complex blueprints and sketches to determine layout and welding processes.
+ Set up and operate welding, grinding, and cutting equipment.
+ Prepare and assemble parts and sub-assemblies according to specifications.
+ Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards.
+ Maintain accurate production records and paperwork.
+ Keep a clean and safe work environment.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**What’s Needed?**
+ High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
+ Minimum of **3 years of MIG welding experience** in a manufacturing setting.
+ Must be able to to pass a **Written and hands-on weld test**
+ Ability to work the Monday–Thursday, 3:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m schedule
+ Must pass a respiratory medical evaluation, respirator training, and fit test before first day.
