**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Flat Welders** for projects located in the **Thousand Oaks, CA area** This is a full time opportunity, and the pay rate is **$32-37/hour** based on experience and skill level.If you are a Flat Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Perform structural steel welding, including assembly and fabrication of steel components + Weld stiffeners, handrails, staircases, and other structural elements according to project specifications + Utilize FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) process; certified welders preferred, but experienced non-certified welders may be considered + Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards + Follow all safety protocols and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times + Work collaboratively with the fabrication team to fit, align, and secure steel structures before welding + Perform quality checks on completed welds and make adjustments or repairs as needed **Requirements** + Prior experience in structural steel welding (FCAW preferred) + Ability to operate welding tools and equipment safely + Comfortable working at heights and in a fabrication shop or construction environment + Knowledge of standard welding safety procedures **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
