Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in both Mig and Tig welding, with the ability to fit and weld stainless steel enclosures of varying shapes and sizes. This role involves using a robotic welder for various bushing welds and welding pressure-tested vessels to ensure they are leak-free. The ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings is essential, along with the use of metric and standard measurements. Maintaining a clean shop and following proper procedures for setting up and using welding equipment are also crucial aspects of this role.

ResponsibilitiesPerform Mig and Tig welding.Fit and weld stainless steel enclosures of variable shapes and sizes.Use robotic welder for various bushing welds.Weld pressure-tested vessels with no leaks.Weld according to blueprints and shop drawings.Use metric and standard measurements.Maintain a clean shop.Follow proper procedures for setting up and using welding equipment.Essential Skills1.5+ years of Tig welding experience.2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.Ability to interpret welding symbols and drawings/blueprints.Experience with pressure vessels, stainless, and mild steel.Experience operating other welding equipment, including grinders, sand belts, ironworkers, and band saws.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift experience is preferred.Certified Welding Bureau welding certificate preferred (expired and no ticket also acceptable).Overhead crane operation is a nice-to-have skill.Why Work Here?
