**Job Title: Welder**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated 1st shift MIG Welder to fabricate structural and miscellaneous steel components for the construction industry. Your role will involve reading and interpreting blueprints, fitting, marking, placing, tacking, and MIG welding various steel parts such as beams, trusses, columns, stairs, and handrails. You will be required to achieve GMAW (MIG) Certification if not already certified, due to welding on structural parts. Additionally, you may be asked to operate CNC machines, plasma tables, assist in the paint/prime area, or work in the yard. The ideal candidate should have their own welding helmet and jacket, exhibit a strong willingness to learn, maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate consistent attendance. Our facility is small, clean, and organized.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
+ Fit, mark, place, tack, and MIG weld steel parts.
+ Achieve GMAW (MIG) Certification for structural steel welding.
+ Operate CNC machines and plasma tables as needed.
+ Assist in paint/prime area and yard tasks.
+ Use overhead cranes and forklifts when necessary.
**Essential Skills**
+ MIG welding experience on steel.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Team player with adaptability.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Forklift experience.
+ Overhead crane experience.
+ CNC machine experience.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
