**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team in a shop environment focused on welding and fabricating structural steel. The primary task involves welding I beams for the construction industry. The ideal candidate should be proficient in reading blueprints and executing welds efficiently and effectively, with a preference for the ability to fit and fabricate, although this is not a strict requirement. **Responsibilities** + Perform welding tasks on structural steel, including I beams, using various welding techniques. + Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate welding and fabrication. + Collaborate with the team to ensure production goals are met. + Maintain quality standards in welding and fabrication processes. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in flux core welding and MIG welding. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints for structural steel fabrication. + Experience with FCAW and hard wire welding techniques. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in fitting and fabrication. + Knowledge of assembly processes. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values your growth with opportunities for advancement into management positions.
