**Job Title: TIG Welder / Pipe Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled welder with strong fabrication skills, particularly in TIG welding. The role involves working with stainless steel materials such as 304, 310, and 330, known for their heat resistance. The primary focus will be on constructing the body of units using torch tools, bandsaws, and grinders. **Responsibilities** + Operate and maintain basic power tools, including grinders, drills, saws, magnet drills, band saws, and forklifts safely and efficiently. + Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication. + Use a T-square and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and alignment of fabricated components. + Identify and correct errors or inefficiencies in work processes, ensuring high-quality output. + Collaborate with management to prioritize tasks and address any production challenges. **Essential Skills** + Structural welding, including TIG, MIG, and stick welding. + Experience with stainless steel and carbon steel. + Proficiency in 5G and 6G pipe welding. + Experience with heavy industrial equipment and tools such as band saws and power tools. + Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Demonstrated ability to perform MIG welding with clean, strong welds on various materials and thicknesses. + Skilled in using basic power tools, magnet drills, plasma cutters, and band saws for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal. + Certified or experienced in operating forklifts for material handling. + Proficient with measurement tools like T-square and tape measures. + Capable of planning, organizing, and executing fabrication projects from start to finish. + Strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve fabrication or workflow issues. + Excellent time management to keep projects on schedule while maintaining quality standards. + Clear verbal and interpersonal communication skills to coordinate with team members and report to management. + Knowledge of shop safety practices and a commitment to enforcing them. **Why Work Here?** This is a long-term position with a steady flow of projects, ensuring a busy and engaging work environment. The role involves designating and facilitating projects to ensure timelines and quality standards are met. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Corona, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
