**Now hiring Welders! ($25-35/hr on 1st or 2nd Shift!)** **Job Description** Perform basic fit-up operations in preparation for welding, primarily on high-turn stock and standard products. Use fixtures when available and appropriate, providing set-up for welding operation. Perform MIG welding on products with medium complexity of moving parts and tolerances, regularly welding plate thicknesses up to 3/8" and occasionally up to 1/2". Ensure welds are free from defects and meet blueprint and traveler specifications, maintaining welding time and quality standards. Complete fit-up and weld operations at a level ensuring organizational profitability, and occasionally perform minor assembly tasks.
