**MIG Welder**
**Job Description**
As a MIG Welder, you will be performing MIG welds on 18 gauge mild steel and 1/2 inch mild steel. Your role involves fabricating and welding parts and assemblies for pavement maintenance equipment, safety railings, and other pavement machine components. You will primarily perform butt and fill welds and handle necessary grinding and finishing on parts.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform MIG welds on 18 gauge and 1/2 inch mild steel.
+ Fabricate and weld parts and assemblies for various equipment.
+ Conduct butt and fill welds as required.
+ Perform grinding and finishing on welded parts.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of MIG welding experience and/or technical degree.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
+ High School Diploma.

**Work Environment**
Work in a large, organized, and clean warehouse environment at a company that fabricates and assembles its own equipment for the industrial roofing industry. The facility primarily uses mild steel and outsourced piece parts such as motors, pneumatic, and electronics.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
