Job Description
We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team, specializing in welding on mild steel and sheet metal using .035 hard wire. The role involves reading blueprints, fabricating parts, and welding thin gauge metal.
ResponsibilitiesPerform welding on mild steel and sheet metal using .035 hard wire.Read and interpret blueprints to fabricate parts.Weld thin gauge metal efficiently and accurately.Participate in training on day shifts to enhance skills.Be available for overtime work starting at 5:30am on day shifts and on Fridays during swing shifts.Voluntary overtime work available on Saturdays.Essential SkillsProficiency in MIG welding, including hard wire and .035 wire.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with welding thin gauge metal.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with TIG welding and aluminum fabrication.Skill in sheet metal fabrication.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a clean and organized shop that combines production welding and fabrication. We specialize in manufacturing sheet metal products, serving the automotive and exercise equipment industries. Enjoy regular scheduled swing shifts from 4:00pm-2:30am, Monday-Thursday, with training conducted during day shifts from 7:30am-4pm, Monday-Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
