**Description** Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled **Flat Welders** for projects located in and around **Tipton, IA** . This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of **$24-28/hour** based on experience & skill level. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Finish assembling & welding parts + Weld & fabricate parts using various welding techniques from a variety of materials specified in blueprints + Check measurements, alignment, weld beams, and/or columns together effectively to meet customers requirements + Make adjustments to fit application according to blueprints by cutting and/or griding + Re-cut parts to fit as needed + Cut & drill a variety of materials using acetylene + Cut torch, hand plasma, & mag drill + Work on complex welding layouts + Verify parts, codes, & stamp on top side of assembly + Maintain clean work area with materials off the floor & aisles clutter free + Verify all items are marked correctly & checked as completed on blueprints + Fill out time-sheets with proper job codes & time spent + Move material in and out of facility as needed using forklift + Structural steel welding from blueprints + Other tasks as assigned **Requirements:** + 2+ Years of Structural Steel welding Experience + D1.1 Certification or Ability to obtain + Ability to read Blueprints **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
