Job Description
We are seeking skilled welders to join our team, specifically focusing on aluminum and steel materials. This role involves working on the production of steel columns for racking systems used in various large warehouses. The ideal candidate should be capable of performing MIG welding and have an understanding of fabrication processes.
ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on steel columns in the columns area.Work in the south weld building on more advanced fabrication tasks.Create jigs for various pieces needed for fabrication.Ensure all welding is performed according to safety and quality standards.Read and interpret blueprints and measurements accurately.Essential SkillsProficiency in MIG welding.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience in fabrication and fitting tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsCandidates from technical schools with relevant welding experience are welcome.No GED or High School Diploma is required, but passing a weld test is essential.Own a pair of steel-toed boots and a welding shield.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment includes a typical fabrication plant setting. It can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, with a dirty and dusty atmosphere at the Maple Ave location. A cleaner environment is available at the Industrial Circle site, where bulletproof windows are manufactured. Candidates will work in shifts, with 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm and 2nd shift from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, which includes a $1.50 differential.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
