Job Description
Join our dynamic welding team as a Welder, where you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality auto parts. You will work with a variety of products, including mufflers, silencers, exhaust tubes, thermal management tubing, and hydraulic and lubrication assemblies. Our company is headquartered in Wisconsin and has grown to 23 locations since its inception in 1939.
ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel materials.Conduct TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel.Read and interpret blueprints for welding projects.Pass math tests involving simple addition, subtraction of decimals, and measurement identification using a ruler in inches.Successfully complete MIG/TIG weld tests.Work a minimum of 50 hours per week.Essential SkillsProficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.Ability to weld stainless steel and mild steel.Blueprint reading skills.Mathematical skills for simple calculations and measurements.Experience in welding stainless steel.Own a welding helmet and gloves.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with fabrication and grinding.Ability to work in a clean and safety-focused environment.Experience with stainless steel welding.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a large, clean, and organized warehouse spanning 256,000 square feet. The environment is designed with safety as the number one concern, featuring individual welding booths equipped with snorkel systems to vacuum debris. All personal protective equipment is provided, except for welding helmets and gloves, which candidates must bring. The facility operates across two shifts: the first shift from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, and the second shift from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, with a 10% shift differential for the second shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
