Job Description
A reputable fence company in Omaha is looking to hire an additional welder! This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing company.
We are seeking an experienced and reliable mild steel and aluminum Welder to join our team of fence construction professionals. This role is integral to our operations, and we are looking for someone who is skilled in welding and fabrication techniques.
ResponsibilitiesPerform welding tasks using MIG welding techniques on mild steel and aluminum materials.Fabricate parts and structures according to specifications and blueprints.Interpret and work from blueprints, weld symbols, and dimensions to ensure accurate construction.Utilize fabrication equipment to assist in the welding and construction process.Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards during all welding and fabrication activities.Essential SkillsMinimum of two years' welding experience.Experience welding mild steel and aluminum.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and dimensions.Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.Welding certification preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in using fabrication equipment.Capability to lift up to 100 lbs. above knees and 30 lbs above head for several hours.Ability to work in awkward positions on knees or bent at the knees for several hours.Must be able to stand for an extended period of time.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will be working in a small team of 2-3 within a shop environment, where collaboration and precision are key to achieving our goals.
Shift: Monday - Friday: 7am -5pm

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
