**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Flat Welders** for projects located in and around **Mills River, NC.** This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of **up to $35/hour** based on experience and skill level. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Welding Fabrication + Perform MIG & TIG Welding on Tanks, Pressure Vessels, and other Metal Structures + Working with Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, and Aluminum + Operate Grinders, Torches, and other Fabrication Tools to Prepare and Finish Welds + Weld in Various Positions; Flat, Vertical, Overhead + Set up Welding Machines with Correct Voltage, Amperage, and Gas Flow + Position and Secure Work Pieces using Clamps, Fixtures, and Jigs + Quality Control Inspection; Inspect Welds for Defects, Cracks, and Porosity + Perform Visual and Non-Destructive Testing + Ensure Welds Meet ASME, AWS, or other Industryy Standards **Requirements:** + Able to Read and Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, and Welding Symbols to Determine Job Specifications + Able to Follow OSHA and Company Safety Regulations for Welding and Confined Spaces + Standard PPE + Maintain Welding Equipment + Proficiency in MIG and TIG Welding Techniques + Experience with Thick Plate and Thin Gauge Metal Welding + Able to Work in Confined Spaces and Elevated Positions + Knowledge of Welding Codes and Industry Standards **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
