**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our dynamic team, specializing in MIG welding, layout, tacking, fabrication, and building functions in the manufacture of various products. The Welder will perform tasks according to product specifications and ensure adherence to safety procedures using provided PPEs. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding. + Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other instructions to execute necessary tasks. + Apply knowledge of welding safety procedures and utilize provided PPEs. + Engage in fabrication and building functions in product manufacturing. + Complete other duties as assigned in a job shop environment where products are designed to order. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in MIG welding. + Ability to read blueprints and interpret project plans. + Knowledge of welding safety procedures. + Experience in layout, tacking, and fabrication. + Competency in shop math and using tape measures. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Welding degree or equivalent experience required. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a supportive work environment with attractive benefits including three weeks of PTO upon hire, 401K match, and reimbursement for shoes and safety glasses. The workday starts at 6 am and includes two 10-minute breaks at 8 am and 10 am, a lunch break at 12 pm, and ends at 2:30 pm. Welders will stand for up to two hours at a time and enjoy a comfortable and safe working environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Prior Lake, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
