This role involves setting up and using a MIG welder, as well as various other welding techniques to ensure precise and quality construction of components. **Responsibilities** + Use and set up MIG welder according to job requirements. + Layout, position, align, and fit components together for assembly. + Secure parts in position for welding by bolting, clamping, and tack welding. + Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts using cutting, grinding, carbon arc, or oxy-acetylene torch. + Read blueprints or follow verbal instructions to perform repairs and fabrications according to customer specifications. + Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and safety standards. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in welding, grinding, and blueprint reading. + Ability to set up and troubleshoot welding machines. + Capability to train others and lead within the shop area. + Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + D1.1 Certification preferred. + Experience with flux core and aluminum welding. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a flexible work schedule with a Monday-Thursday shift and the opportunity for overtime.
