Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)Weekend Schedule | Lafayette, IN | Flexible Options Available
Weekends only + weekdays free. Provide 1:1 patient care in the home — no call lights or 6-patient assignments. New to home health? We provide training and ride-along support.

We are hiring a Weekend Home Health RN in the Lafayette area. This role is ideal for nurses who prefer fewer weekday obligations, want a consistent routine, or are balancing family, school, or a second job.

Thursday – Monday
Friday – Sunday
Saturday – Sunday
No home health experience? We will train you. Many of our best nurses came from hospital, rehab, and skilled nursing settings.

What You’ll DoAs a Home Health RN, you’ll care for patients in their homes and help them safely manage their health conditions.
Responsibilities include:
Completing start-of-care and routine nursing visits
Assessing patient condition and developing care plans
Providing medication and disease-management education
Monitoring progress and preventing hospital readmissions
Coordinating care with physicians, therapists, and care team members
Identifying changes in condition and communicating appropriately
Documenting visits in the electronic medical record
Maintaining HIPAA and patient safety standards
Training & Support
You will not be sent out unprepared. We provide:
Structured onboarding
Ride-along visits with experienced clinicians
EMR training
Ongoing clinical mentorship and leadership support
What We’re Looking ForActive, unrestricted RN license
1+ year of nursing experience (hospital, SNF, rehab, clinic, etc.)
Willingness to work independently in the field
Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
Ability to travel within the Lafayette coverage area
Sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently and be able to lift 50-100 lbs.
Preferred (not required):
Home Health or Hospice experience
HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) experience
ASN or BSN
